No sales tax when delivered outside of South Carolina. We operate in South Carolina so we are required to collect base rate of 6.0% sales tax plus applicable County & Local tax on all merchandise delivered in SC. After you submit your order, if applicable, we will add the additional South Carolina county and/or local taxes manually. This is necessary because our checkout computes taxes based on zip code and there may be multiple counties requiring different taxes in the same SC zip code. Customers outside of South Carolina are responsible for their own state or municipal tax liabilities, if any. Coupons or special promotions, when available, may not be combined.



Shipping Information:

Oversized items such as furniture and large orders are generally shipped by freight truck and arrive by full size tractor-trailer with 1 person. Please call us toll free at 1-877-563-8233 if you foresee limited tractor trailer access or require additional information.

Nationwide shipping is available to more than 99% of zipcodes in the 48 Continental United States. Sorry, we cannot ship to certain remote areas, APO/FPO or PO Boxes. Customers located in Alaska, Hawaii should contact us for a custom shipping quote.

"Free Shipping" On Everything *Some inexpensive furniture items are too large or heavy to ship economically and may have additional surcharges added which are clearly marked in the "delivery option" on the item page.

"Ground Shipping" means your merchandise will be shipped by our choice of standard US Postal Service, FedEx Ground or UPS Ground. Once shipped, arrival to you is generally 3-7 business days later depending on the destination. Ground shipped items are noted on the item page. Packaging and shipping materials are left for you. Sorry, we cannot ship to APO/FPO or PO Boxes.

"Curbside Delivery" means your merchandise will be handed to you by the driver from the back of the truck. You must be prepared to move your merchandise from the truck to it's destination as the driver is not responsible for off-loading. If additional services are requested, required or deemed necessary, you are responsible for making payment for services directly to the freight company. Packaging and shipping materials are left for you. A responsible adult must be on-site during the entire delivery.

"In-Room Delivery" means a professional delivery crew will place your merchandise in the room of your choice without assembly. Please provide ample room for placement of potentially multiple pieces. Packaging and shipping materials are left for you. A responsible adult must be on-site during the entire delivery.

"Inside Delivery" means your merchandise will be placed in the first available ground level dry area, garage or carport. Deliveries arrive by freight truck with 1 person who is not responsible beyond ground level. If you do not have access to a ground level dry area, garage or carport or a tractor trailer cannot negotiate to within a manageable distance, you must be prepared to take the order from the driver at the closest available point. Customers who live in high-rise buildings, apartments, townhouse condos or do not have a ground level garage or carport will need to be prepared to provide additional help to remove the individual items from the pallet and place them into a dry area. Packaging and shipping materials are left for you. A responsible adult must be on-site during the entire delivery.

"In-Home w/Set-Up" means a professional delivery crew will carry your merchandise, remove the packaging material, assemble your merchandise (for up to 45 minutes) and dispose of the packaging debris. You must have the desired room prepared and provide ample room for installation. When our "White Glove" delivery service is utilized, set-up includes 45 minutes of assembly which is usually enough time to complete most standard deliveries. Large deliveries or those associated with certain bunk beds or loft beds may require additional assembly time. You may choose to complete the set-up on your own or pay an additional fee directly to the delivery company. Packaging and shipping materials are removed. A responsible adult must be on-site during the entire delivery.

*NOTE: Deliveries made to a building or community that require an insurance certificate AND the property owner or management company wants to be named as an "Additional Insured", a $100.00 fee will be added to your order.

YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED IN ADVANCE BY THE SHIPPING COMPANY TO SCHEDULE A DELIVERY DAY FOR CURBSIDE, IN-ROOM, INSIDE AND IN-HOME W/SET UP DELIVERIES. On the day of your delivery you should make arrangements to be available from 8am-5pm. Delivery time windows are estimates which are offered as a courtesy only and cannot be guaranteed due to many factors including weather, traffic, unforeseen complications at previous deliveries, etc.

The type of delivery and shipping address cannot be changed after order placement. You will be contacted prior to delivery to arrange the delivery day which is performed Monday through Friday between 8am and 5pm. PLEASE NOTE: Delivery time windows are estimates only and are not a guaranteed time of arrival. Missed deliveries by the customer will incur an additional fee of 45-65% of the order total per occurrence depending on your location. This is due to your order having to be transported back to the distribution center, off-loaded, re-scheduled, re-loaded and re-delivered to you.

Furniture is an integral part of the global economy. Providing reasonably priced furniture while maintaining the selection and quality of construction we expect means that some of our products and/or their components may come from a variety of countries. Shipping containers are randomly inspected by US Customs which can lead to unforeseen transportation delays beyond our control. In many cases, the vendor doesn't become aware of these delays until the anticipated arrival has passed. Therefore we may not be unable to notify you ahead of time. Arrival times are estimates based on past experience with each vendor and are not guaranteed. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations due to delivery or transportation delays.

Please make us aware of any potential complications at the time of ordering.
Successful deliveries require open communication between all parties.


"Usually ships in:" is provided as an estimate of when that product generally ships from the vendor based on our past experience. This time may vary depending on the trucking company, inventory levels or production schedules which can change without notice.

"Arrival times" to you will vary depending on the destination and the services you choose. In order to expedite your delivery, we use the fastest method available for the type of delivery needed. The type of delivery may not be changed after order placement.

Initial delivery is guaranteed to be ready for delivery within the time frame we provide or we'll refund you 5% of the product price. Not applicable for replacements or back-ordered items.



Customer Responsibility:

Check your sales order carefully because you are responsible for:

  • the accuracy of quantities, items, colors and finishes.

  • making all changes or cancellations in writing within 24 hours of submitting the order to us.

  • the proper fit of the furniture through your home, up stairways and in the desired room if necessary.

  • prior removal of your existing furniture and providing ample space for delivery crew to work.

  • having a responsible adult available all day and on premises during the entire delivery.

  • receiving the order upon notification by the scheduler for truck shipments or "white-glove" deliveries.

  • making sure the ceiling heights are tall enough for the chosen bunk or loft.

  • confirming ceiling fans are not within reach of bunks or lofts.

  • providing a safe and normally accessible path from the truck to the delivery point.

  • the accessibility of a large truck or tractor trailer to within a manageable distance of your entryway.

  • inspecting and noting any carton or product damage on the delivery ticket upon receipt.

  • counting the packages and noting any shortages on the delivery ticket upon receipt.

  • removal of snow and ice from the driveway and all pathways.




  • Upon Your Receipt:

    You must inspect the order carefully for damage prior to signing the delivery receipt.

    ALL CARTON AND PRODUCT DAMAGE MUST BE NOTED ON THE DELIVERY RECEIPT! Claims for damage cannot be accepted unless you noted the damage on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery. Mirrors or glass should be opened and inspected upon receipt as they will not be replaced otherwise. Count the number of pieces received and confirm that it matches the piece count on the delivery receipt. Claims for missing items cannot be accepted unless you noted the shortage at the time of delivery.

    If an item is visibly damaged...DO NOT REFUSE TO ACCEPT YOUR DELIVERY. You may refuse only the specific item(s) that is damaged with a notation on the delivery ticket stating which item, type of damage and the disposition. Please take pictures to provide proof of damage to us and the trucking company.

    Items and/or parts found to be defective will be replaced without charge and may not be cancelled. Damaged items/parts, so noted on the delivery ticket upon receipt, will be repaired or replaced at our sole discretion and may not be cancelled. Replacement items or parts of items will be shipped as soon as they are available. Please notify us by phone at (877) 563-8233 or by e-mail of any defect or damage immediately so we can initiate the replacement process with the manufacturer or the trucking company.

    After your receipt of an "In-Home" Delivery: You must CAREFULLY unpack & inspect your merchandise for "concealed" damage within 3 days. DO NOT TEAR OPEN OR DESTROY THE PACKAGING UNTIL YOU HAVE INSPECTED YOUR MERCHANDISE. If you find what you consider to be "concealed" damage (cartons are not damaged or crushed but product is damaged), you must notify the trucking company and us within 3 days of your receipt. Do not move or assemble the product. Leave the cartons and packing material intact until you receive further instructions.

    Pictures showing the damage and the of the item showing the location of the damage must be provided to us and/or the trucking company upon request.

    The trucking company has the right to inspect the original shipping cartons before honoring any claims. Upon filing your claim, you will receive instructions from the trucking company regarding moving or assembling product. Always keep the shipping cartons and packing materials until your claim has been acknowledged and settled by the shipper. Moving, assembling, disposing of cartons & packaging prior to completing the damage claim may limit your ability to receive reimbursement or replacement for those items. Damage such as crushed corners, nicks, dings, dents or breakage of any kind is considered freight related. Freight related damage claims will only be honored if you noted the damage on the delivery receipt at the time of your delivery.



    Cancellation/Changes

    Changes or cancellations must be emailed to us immediately or within 24 hours of order submission. We will send you an email confirming receipt of your change or cancellation request along with the disposition of the order. If you do not receive a confirmation email from us, your request was not received and changes or cancellations have not been processed. Changes or cancellations by phone are not valid but please feel free to call us toll-free at 1-877-563-8233 to confirm our receipt of your emailed request.

    Your order is processed immediately upon our receipt. Once your order is transmitted to the vendor, Beds Bunks & Lofts becomes financially obligated to purchase from the chosen vendor. We will make every effort to honor requested changes to your order or cancellations but once the vendor processes for production or shipping (generally 12-24 hours) we may be unable to accomodate your request. Deliveries that are refused or not scheduled for receipt by you within 10 days of notification will be considered abandoned and returned to our facility without refunds or credits. Furniture and mattress orders that have shipped may not be cancelled or returned for any reason. Once your order ships from the vendor, we are unable to accept cancellations or changes but small parcel purchases can utilize our 30-Day return policy.

    We understand that you may have questions about details, construction or certain expectations with each item. Our product knowledge far exceeds that of a typical online retailer and we are available to answer any product questions you might have so please contact us or call us toll free at 1-877-563-8233 before placing your order.



    30-Day Return Policy

    You may return your new and unused merchandise for a refund (less the original shipping and handling charges) within 30 days of delivery. Your order must have arrived to you via standard small parcel ground shipping methods* such as FedEx Ground, FedEx Home, UPS Ground or USPS Mail. "Free Shipping" means that the actual shipping charges were paid by us and is only valid for items kept by the customer. Returned items will void any free shipping offers and the original shipping and handling fees will be deducted from any refunds. Please be advised that shipping and handling fees charged to us by a vendor can be 20%-30% of the price of an item. To initiate a merchandise return, please contact us to obtain proper return instructions along with a Return Authorization Number (RA#) (which needs to be written on the outside of the package).

  • Returns need to arrive to us within 30 days of your receipt in new and unused condition with original packing materials, instructions, hardware and manuals. Please write the RA# on the outside of the package and address your return to:

  • All return shipping fees, insurance and arrangements are the customers' responsibility so you must return your items "postage paid".

  • Please be sure the return has proper insurance coverage and we recommend shipping with FedEx Ground or UPS Ground (USPS Mail does not offer point-to-point tracking). It is helpful if you email us the tracking information so we can avoid receiving errors or delays.

  • Once inspected and found to be in acceptable condition, we will issue a refund less the original shipping and handling charges. Refunds will not be issued for items that arrive to us dirty, damaged, used, assembled, installed, washed, modified, missing parts or not returned in original packaging.


  • *Sorry but some products are not returnable including furniture, furniture accessories, mattresses, pillows, mattress protectors, personal hygiene use, items noted as not returnable, and clearance items. Additionally, any merchandise that arrives to you by our own company delivery vehicle, by a vendor delivery vehicle, by "white glove" delivery or by common carrier freight truck are not returnable. They are simply too large and cumbersome and therefore too expensive to return due to the high cost of transportation and labor. Items that were shipped or have been transported outside the Continental U.S. (HI & AK are not in the Continental US) may not be returned. Of course, if a non-returnable item within the Continental U.S. is noted as damaged on the delivery receipt, found to be defective or an incorrect item was received, it will be repaired or replaced, at our option, without charge as soon as possible.



    Warranties:

    All merchandise is warranted by the respective manufacturer. Manufacturer warranty* is limited to defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential household use. Shipping and labor costs are the customers responsibility. Items or parts found to be defective will be repaired or replaced without charge. The decision to repair or replace an item is at the sole discretion of Beds Bunks & Lofts. Detailed warranty information will be included with your purchase.

    *Any product shipped outside the Continental U.S., the customer assumes complete responsibility and liability for damaged and/or defective products, including the cost of shipping.

    Wood furniture requires proper care.

    Wood furniture is finished with a fine lacquer top coat which adds to its beauty and helps preserve the chosen color. No wood or wood finish is indestructible and you must provide regular care and maintenance.

  • Clean up spills immediately, as all liquids will damage lacquer finishes.
  • Never use cleaners that contain ammonia, abrasives, silicones or acetone, as these chemicals will damage lacquer finishes.
  • Avoid placing rubber or plastic on wood furniture, as their ingredients can react with lacquer finishes.
  • Rubber feet found on the bottoms of radios, clocks, pencil sharpeners, staplers, lamps, etc. should be changed to felt.
  • Avoid direct sunlight, as sunlight causes fading.
  • Do not write, drag, drop or place heavy items directly on surface, as all woods can be damaged.
  • Periodically check and retighten any hardware as necessary. Do not overtighten.


  • WOOD IS UNIQUE AND YOU MUST EXPECT VARIATIONS IN GRAINING, COLOR, FIT & FINISHING.

    Wood is porous and will expand and contract due to humidity changes in the home. Changes in temperature or humidity can cause joints to open & close and/or wood to warp and crack. Extreme changes may also cause moisture to become trapped under the finish and cause cracking & peeling. As wood expands and contracts it may cause cracking in the joints of painted furniture which is considered normal and unavoidable. Standard painters caulk is easy to use and works well as a concealer.



    US Mattress Measurements (these can vary by 1/2")

  • Twin/Single 39"W x 75"L is most commonly used in kids beds, bunk beds, daybeds, trundle beds or guest rooms.
  • Twin Extra Long 39"W x 80"L is generally used in college dorm rooms and is 5" longer than a standard twin. Bedding may be harder to find and only available in a limited variety of patterns.
  • Full/Double 54"W x 75"L is 15" wider than a twin bed. Commonly available in most beds for kids to teens to adults.
  • Queen 60"W x 80"L is 6" wider and 5" longer than a full/double bed. A popular choice for small master bedrooms or guest bedrooms. Queen box springs are commonly built as 1-piece but can be special ordered as 2-pieces to move through narrow hallways and stairways.
  • King 76"W x 80"L (also known as Eastern King) is about 16" wider than a Queen bed. Both king & queen are about 80" long. The Eastern King is the only bed to give each person the same width as a twin bed. Eastern King box springs are built in 2-pieces to be more manageable when moving.
  • California King (Cal. King) 72" x 84" is 12" wider than a Queen bed but adds 4" in length. This may be a better choice for taller adults. Bedding may be labeled either "California King" or "Western King". California King box springs are built in 2-pieces to be more manageable when moving.

  • Mattresses, bedding and accessories shown in photographs are sold separately.
  • Mattress support (ie: bunkie board, slat roll, etc.) is included with many beds.
  • Mattress support must be purchased separately if not included. Please ask us if you're unsure.
  • Bunk and loft bed prices include upper bed front and rear safety rails and a ladder or stairs.
  • Children under 6 should not use the top of a bunk bed or loft bed.


  • The color and finish you see online may not match the actual finish you receive for many reasons including your computer monitor, seasonality, graining and texture. Please ask us or visit our store for a color sample prior to ordering.

    To guard against fraud, full payment is required upon order placement and will be processed immediately. As additional security, we utilize address and code verification software which requires that an accurate billing address is entered. Incorrect billing addresses may require additional identification or orders are subject to cancellation. Orders paid for by a personal check or money order will be held until we verify the payment has cleared our banking institution.
