Made in the USA and available in 5 finishes and over 2 dozen drawer pulls. The stairs are working drawers and have a strip of slip-resistant tape. Stairs can be installed on the left or right. The bottom full bed is free-standing and includes a large (37"W x 23"D x 10"H) drawer on casters. The finish is a very durable laminate surface (similar to Formica) which is impervious to liquids and is scratch & heat-resistant. Nail polish, polish removers, make-up, pencil, pen & markers are a few common household products that are easily removed with any non-abrasive cleaning product.
